Note to self: Do not kick boat

We went to the lake on Saturday to enjoy the sunny weather (although it did rain again as we were leaving). We were just floating and swimming and hanging out. We also had Daniel and Jaci's dogs along. and Lilly was floating on a life jacket chilling in the water and I was in by her to make sure she didn't fall off. When I was pulling her away from the boat a little bit I managed to kick the boat. I either hit the ladder or the motor... either way I felt lots of pain. I looked at it and it had a nice cut on it, but it didn't start bleeding right away, so I thought that maybe it wasn't too bad. But then it did start bleeding and it bled a lot. We didn't have a first aid kit, so I wrapped it up in wet naps and we headed to the marina. The marina didn't really have anything for sale, but the lady gave me a few bandaids she had. I knew that wasn't going to be enough and some people at the marina had gauze and tape so I managed to get it all wrapped up.

All wrapped up. It doesn't need to be wrapped that much anymore since it isn't bleeding like it had been. Hopefully soon it will just need a bandaid.

Hopefully this isn't too gross for anyone. Its hard to take a good picture of a cut on a toe I learned, but you get the idea.

I am surprised that it doesn't really hurt that much, only when I bump it. Hopefully I can pull off wearing flip flops for a few days.
